Kristin joined United Way of East Central Iowa with over a decade of fundraising and relationship-building experience. She serves as President and CEO, where she works with the community on all levels to bring together the caring power of the community to invest in effective solutions that improve people’s lives. Kristin has spent the last 15 years of her career in nonprofit fundraising and communications.
Kristin graduated from Wartburg College with a degree in Communication Arts. Her alma mater’s mission of living a life of leadership and service still speaks to her today as she looks to continually be a part of the community and give back through the many boards and committees she serves on. She also holds a master’s degree in Strategic Leadership from Mt. Mercy University.
In her spare time, Kristin is an avid runner and enjoys spending time outside. She is married to interior designer Mark Roberts. They have two children, 12-year-old Miles and 8-year-old Harrison, and almost 1-year-old puppy, Duke.
