Doug Elam is visiting all Iowa counties researching and examining "Poor Farm Cemeteries"
When Doug retired from Kirkwood and a contract position with Keep Iowa Beautiful, he had traveled much of the state.
Doug thought it would be fun to visit the rest of the 99 counties, but he needed a reason to do so. A lifelong student of history he decided on researching and locating the Poor Farm Cemeteries.
