We have open club positions. Club leadership builds your skills. These are essential for Rotary to serve our community and beyond. Please consider these positions.
Our club becomes very busy in January - All hands are needed in 2021. Talk to Mary or Theresa about any of these positions!
Youth Activities for the following areas.
- College Scholarship promotion/selection. Promote Sunrise Rotary scholarships to schools in January, collect student applications. Hold the selection meeting of Members in April/May. Sunrise Rotary at the awards (if scheduled by schools).
- RYLA (~High School) and/or Young RYLA (~Middle School) for Summer 2021. Recruiting campaign is through our members (and schools). Begins now.
Sunrise Club President for Rotary Year 2022-2023 (Serving July 1 2022 - June 30 2023).
- We appreciate Lynette Markofski stepping up as a Nominee for this position!
- On our Board starting after her election, soon.
- Serve as President Elect July 2021 for 1 year.
- Serve as President July 2022 for 1 year.
Make-A-Wish Golf committee
- Started January 15. Alternate Fridays, Noon Zoom, Jan 29 forward...
- The event is Thursday May 27 2021 and depends on Covid19 status in the community.
- Encouraging members to recruit 4-somes and sponsors. Publicity creation.
- Preparing event-day activities: Checkin, course stations, food, etc.
- Event day volunteer coverage.
