Are you looking for an easy way to support the community this Spring? 
 
Give blood at the next Rotary Blood Donation Challenge!
Donors who give this spring will be able to help the community in two ways:
  • Donating blood will help up to four patients in our community and ensure that essential procedures do not have to be postponed
  • For every donor that comes in, ImpactLife will plant a tree in their name to support reforestation efforts around the area
The donation process is easy and only takes about an hour (with only 10 min spent on the donation bed). There is no substitute for donated blood!

3 Sunrise District Grants - Underway Today
We have a lead Rotarian on each grant as we work together. 
  • Catherine McAuley Center - Completed! We refurbishing a Child Care room for children of immigrants, while their parents are in classes. Thank you Mary Schell!
  • AbbeHealth/Aging Services - Connecting the older folks in our commuity to others with 5 tablets. Gift bags were distributed. 5 iPads to hand-off soon! Bob Schell is leading. 
  • ChildServe - Providing learning/testing tools for this organization to serve their kids. Rachel Rigdon is arranging the financial details now.
Volunteering is an essential parts of these organizations and our club. The engages us with serving our community.  Details at our weekly meetings. 
Catherine McAuley Center child care room updates:  Immigrant clients needed this room for children during the parent's classes.  New tables and chairs, security cameras, fingerpring reader, and tablet electronics are installed nowm for better care of the kids.
