We as a club are feeling very thankful that the flood didn't have the catastrophic affect on homes and businesses as projected. Feeling even more thankful for all of the community members who gathered together and made sure that necessary evacuation and sandbagging efforts were taken to ensure the protection of so many homes and businesses. As we move forward, though minor, some downtown organizations and homes incurred minor set backs and expenses because of the water that did reach them. Please consider coming to our Fall Banquet to raise money for some of these organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Matthew 25. For $20 dollars a ticket, you will be fed and can bid on silent and live auction items that will support organizations listed above as well as local high school scholarships and international programs.
